Ambassadors, Diplomats, Career and Honorary Consuls attended a very special event organized by the President and the executive Board of the Consular Corps in Greece last May 18. It was a workshop on “Public speaking Mastery” facilitated by Dale Carnegie Training,the global leader in workplace learning & development.

Two experienced and highly skilled Dale Carnegie coaches, Mrs. Lefki Papacharalambous and Mr. Orestis Roussopoulos, facilitated & coached the participants to leverage on their strengths and grow as persuasive communicators & public speakers.

The participants were coached to make their speech presentations more effective and more attractive to their audience, but also to deliver them with impact. The event took place at the luxurious Royal Olympic Hotel, on the last floor’s hall with a superb view over Athens. By the end of the 3 hour workshop the participants identified the following areas as more relevant to their needs: “gaining Public Speaking confidence”, “organizing content & managing time effectively”, “understanding the key elements of a successful speech”,” how to relax & enjoy myself more”, “engaging the audience” and “overcoming the fear of public speaking”.

All the participants expressed their great satisfaction for the seminar, during which they enriched their knowledge on public speaking techniques and congratulated the CCG for taking such fruitful initiatives.»
